When I get the opportunity to try out high end products like MAC samples to review I am always thrilled! The MAC Lightful line is comprised of 4 products all designed with the marine bright formula and super-duo charged water to leave your skin clean, moisturized and smooth.
The MAC Lightful Marine Bright Formula Cleanser has a fresh clean smell, a creamy mousse like texture and spreads easily. I use this product in the shower, massaging it in to create a nice foam on my damp face. After I wash my body I rinse the cleanser away and my face feels clean and clear of residue.
I always stumble across tips and tricks while scrolling Facebook. This one intrigued me so I had to give it a shot. I'm a fan of all sorts of uses for baking soda and have used it in home made face masks before. When I tried this simple trick I knew I'd found the best way to clean, exfoliate and soften my skin while also preventing and healing blemishes and dry patches. As simple as it is, you'll be surprised you've never thought of it before! This is definitely a budget friendly skin care option!
Chances are you've heard that having sex burns calories, but how many? WebMD claims that thirty minutes of sex burns roughly 85 calories. Let's face it though. Not all sex is the same. Some couples are more laid back, while others like to swing from the rafters. Obviously, not everyone is going to burn the same amount of calories. Let's take a closer look at how many calories you can really expect to burn during those hot nights.
An article on Woman's Day laid out the nitty gritty details of various sexual acts and how many calories we can expect to burn during a thirty minute period. For example, let's say you enjoy going down on your man. The act can actually burn 100 calories! If you throw in some pushups and yoga positions, you may burn even more. A hand job can also burn up to 100 calories. Heavy petting burns over 200 calories. This is due to the build up of excitement that increases the breathing and heart rate. What does this all mean? It means that taking a bit of time before the main course can burn a lot of calories.
How's your sex drive? The answer to this question varies from woman to woman. Some women are crazy about sex and want it as often as possible while others could take it or leave it. The great thing is that however your sex drive is at this moment- it's going to change. You don't have to worry about being stuck in a rut or being sexless forever.
There are many things which affect our sex drive- medications, hormones, age, childbirth, stress, weight gain etc. Basically you can make a long, long list of things that have an impact on your sex life.
I'm well aware that there are "big girls" who are perfectly happy with their size and weight. But then there are those of us who are fighting the steady increase in weight who find that our larger size affects all different areas of our lives from how we put on makeup to the clothing we wear. Some of us used to be confident and had no problems with sex with the lights on, then that middle age spread crept in and that confidence flew out the window.
Surely you've heard that if you don't love yourself no one else will, that is also the same for your body. Unless you can tap into your confidence and sexiness your additional weight may have a negative impact on your sex life.
I've got to say, over the years I've evolved from being a giving person to one who is now very careful about who I will put myself out or cause myself stress for.
This is a personal thing with me, I spend most of my time at home because I work from home. I don't like to go out for a trip to Wal-Mart or to do this or that. In fact any time I leave the house is a major upheaval for me. I don't expect everyone to understand that but I do find myself resenting when people ask me to change my habits to accommodate something they need.
This is Part 2 in a series of posts, if you missed it please begin with Part 1 by clicking here.
In this series we are looking at various types of men to avoid. Narcissists, hot and cold and emotionally unavailable men. As mentioned in Part 1, the behaviors of these three seem to overlap a great deal which can make it difficult to decide which sort of challenging man you’ve come across.
While hot and cold men or emotionally unavailable men are difficult, the most damaging to a woman seems to be the narcissists. They leave women full of self doubt, insecurity and wondering what they could have done better. Before I share the story of a friend's experience let’s look at the definition of narcissism.
I’m not a psychologist but I’ve recently realized that there are three classifications of men that all seem to be pretty negative. There are many characteristics of these three types of men that overlap making it hard to determine just which guy you’ve encountered.
There is good chance that over the years you have met and possibly been hurt by one of these men. That is not to say that women are naive or gullible, just that we are often manipulated by what these guys project and don’t see the real person underneath until it is too late. Narcissists, hot and cold guys and emotionally unavailable men are ones to avoid unless you are looking for future heartbreak. Learn to recognize the signs and walk away from men like this before you get sucked into the madness.
I saw the image below on Facebook- according to the note with the image each of these women weighs 154 pounds. (Less than me) Note how each body is shaped differently, the weight is in different areas and makes each woman look entirely different. This is why you can't judge your weight against anyone else.
If you're like me when you think about going on a diet or changing your eating habits to be healthier or to lose weight the first thing you think of is all the foods you'll have to eliminate. In the spirit of thinking positive and tackling changes with a positive attitude try taking a look at the foods you can eat that will help you lose weight!
