If you're like me when you think about going on a diet or changing your eating habits to be healthier or to lose weight the first thing you think of is all the foods you'll have to eliminate. In the spirit of thinking positive and tackling changes with a positive attitude try taking a look at the foods you can eat that will help you lose weight!
Beans provide fiber which helps you feel full- thus eating less while also helping your body process and eliminate waste. Sure, you may have some gas but a bowl of vegetarian or meat chili with a lot of beans is a good meal for weight loss.
Salmon is high in protein and low in calories. So you can eat plenty, feel full and not be packing on pounds. Protein also helps give you energy so you're more likely to exercise and burn calories!
Believe it or not with all the controversy over eggs, they are a great diet food. Rich in protein with no carbohydrates eggs have proven to be an effective food for people who want to lose weight. (Of course boiled eggs will be healthier than fried eggs.)
Chili peppers are ideal for weight loss as they have capsaicin which is known to make you feel full and help cut down on the amount of food you eat.
Water isn't a food but it's very effective in flushing your digestive system, making you feel full and being very healthy for all aspects of your physical body. Drink a glass of water half an hour before each meal and you'll eat less.
